Minnesota Supreme Court to hear Mark Kedrowski v. Lycoming Engines
The Minnesota Supreme Court will hear the case of Mark Kedrowski v. Lycoming Engines at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5.
Kedrowski appeals to Minnesota Supreme Court arguing that the Ramsey County District Court abused its discretion in evaluating foundation for the expert opinion and the post-trial decision to exclude the causation opinion was fundamentally unfair.
The original case revolved around Kedrowski is suing respondent Lycoming Engines after he was severely injured in the crash, alleging that the airplane’s engine lost power and caused the crash. He was originally awarded $27 million in damages by a jury before Lycoming filed a post-trial motion for judgment as a matter of law.
