Hawaii Supreme Court to hear Molokai Services v. Pearl A. Hodgins, Friel Enterprises, et al.
The Hawaii Supreme Court will hear the case of Molokai Services Inc. v. Pearl A. Hodgins, Friel Enterprises Inc., et al. at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6.
Molokai Services Inc. argued the Intermediate Court of Appeals gravely erred in extending the continuing tort doctrine to breach of fiduciary duty claims in the corporate context.
The original case revolved around Molokai Services' allegations that the rent it paid under a lease for a property from Friel grossly exceeded fair market value.
