Arkansas Supreme Court to hear Randa Snyder v. Arkansas Department of Human Services
The Arkansas Supreme Court will hear the case of Randa Snyder v. Arkansas Department of Human Services at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19.
Randa Snyder appeals from an administrative agency proceeding finding and the Pulaski County Circuit Court's affirmance of that finding that she abused a nursing home resident when she took the resident’s blood pressure.
She challenges the "propriety of the finding of abuse and, even if technical de minimis abuse occurred, the harshness of the punishment due to that finding. It also challenges the trial court’s refusal to default the administrative agency for filing the record late," her brief states.
