Kentucky Supreme Court to hear Martin Cadillac Inc. v. Charles Armstrong
The Kentucky Supreme Court will hear the case of Martin Cadillac Inc. v. Charles Armstrong at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9.
Martin Dodge Jeep Chrysler requests the court to overrule the opinion of Court of Appeals to the extent that it found that there was a need for further proceedings and failed to preclude Martin Cadillac as an owner of the vehicle in question for purposes of insurance.
The original case revolved around an auto accident in which Craig Armstrong, the appellee's decedent, was injured as a passenger. The vehicle involved in the accident was allegedly sold to another dealership before being purchased by the driver.
