Maine Supreme Court to hear child support case
The Maine Supreme Court will hear the case of Department of Health and Human Services vs. James F. Fagone et al. at 9 a.m. on Nov. 16.
James F. Fagone filed the appeal, arguing that the Superior Court erred in concluding that the terms of child support cannot change without a court-approved modification of a child support order.
The original case revolved around the issue of whether Fagone’s child support obligation for his oldest child ended automatically when the child turned 18.
