Las Vegas property owner seeks state Supreme Court review of foreclosure case
Property owner Martin Centeno sent a notice of appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court in a case involving JP Morgan Chase Bank et. al.
The appellant requested the Supreme Court of Nevada to review the decision made on April 13 by the Clark County District Court. Centeno is the co-owner of property 8064 Torremolinos Ave. in Las Vegas that was under foreclosure proceedings. The appellant claims the District Court erred in calling a previous state Supreme Court ruling regarding foreclosures unconstitutional and in denying his motion to amend an order that granted summary judgment to JP Morgan Chase.
The request for appeal was submitted Oct. 11.
