Case involving royalties heads to Maine high court
The Maine Supreme Judicial Court will hear the case of InfoBridge LLC v. Chimani Inc. at 9 a.m. Oct. 11.
This case goes to the Maine high court after Chimani challenged the decision of the Superior Court, arguing that InfoBridge was not entitled to more than $21,750 since it has not shown a likelihood of obtaining damages higher than that and the contract between the parties requires arbitration.
The original case revolved around royalties owed to InfoBridge by Chimani for the use of computer software.
