Maine high court slated to hear case regarding loans and alleged statute violations
The Maine Supreme Judicial Court will hear the case of East Coast Mortgage Group LLC vs. Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 14.
The case came to the Maine Supreme Court after the East Coast Mortgage Group and Christopher Bain argued that the Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection had insufficient evidence pointing to statute violations.
The original case revolved around two loans that East Coast Mortgage Group and Bain brokered.
