North Carolina high court affirms appeals court decision in consolidated case involving Boone Ford
Boone Ford Inc. recently sent a notice of appeal to the North Carolina Supreme Court in its case involving IME Scheduler Inc and Cash for Crash LLC.
The appellant requested the North Carolina Supreme Court to review the decision made by the appeals court in a dispute involving the sale of a 2013 Ford SVT Raptor pickup truck. This case was previously consolidated with a case involving Cash for Crash, which mistakenly wired money to the Ford dealer. The appellants argue that the judge who consolidated the cases did not have the authority because he was not the trial judge.
The request for to reverse the appeals court's decision to vacate the jury trial verdict and the consolidation and separate the cases was affirmed July 12.
